Summit Health is seeking a Seasonal Scribe Tech to capture accurate patient visit documentation into the EMR and assist the physician with basic patient care in our urgent care setting. Responsibilities include directing patient flow, managing labs and inventory, ensuring DOH compliance, and delivering compassionate, high-quality service to patients.

CNA/MA/EMT backgrounds are encouraged; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; college degree is a plus.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program and/or phlebotomy certifications a plus; training provided.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• English language (speaking and writing) skills required.

Responsabilités

• Capture accurate documentation of patient visits in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Direct patient flow, manage inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure DOH compliance of site labs and exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality service to patients while adhering to protocols.
