VillageMD is seeking a Scribe Tech for a seasonal urgent care role in New York. You will document patient visits in the EMR, assist physicians with routine care, and support site operations including patient flow and labs.

The role offers exposure to DOH-compliant lab processes and a fast-paced environment, with a shift length of 8–12 hours. Prior Medical Assisting training is helpful; bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED; Medical Assisting program or phlebotomy certification a plus (training provided).
• Excellent bedside manner and professional demeanor.
• Flexible with weekend work and ability to work in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsabilités

• Capture accurate, detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR promptly.
• Assist physician with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow, manage inventory, and follow up on lab work.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site labs and exam rooms.
• Provide courteous, compassionate patient service per established protocols.
