Job summary

Williams-Sonoma is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a unique shopping experience with excellent customer service and in-depth product knowledge within a fast-paced, specialty retail environment. You will drive sales, assist with services like gift registry and wraps, and uphold world-class service standards on the sales floor.

The role requires a friendly, energetic demeanor, ability to close sales, and strong multitasking in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Full-time availability to meet business needs.
• Weekend availability for a two-shift pattern is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly customer service by upholding World-Class standards.
• Achieve sales and promotions goals; stay informed on current sales and promotions.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, and furniture orders.
• Use effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and productivity.
• Operate POS system and handle register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges).
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage, and lighting; keep stockroom organized and clean.
