Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a world-class shopping experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment. You will provide in-depth product knowledge, assist with gifts and catalog orders, and perform register transactions accurately.

You will also support visual merchandising, stockroom upkeep, and stock processes, while meeting sales goals and adhering to company policies. Open availability may be required for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer service experience (retail preferred)
• Ability to learn and communicate product features and benefits
• Thrives in a fast-paced specialty retail environment

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying World-Class service standards
• Achieve established sales and contest goals; maintain knowledge of current promotions
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders
• Utilize selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits
• Operate register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges) accurately
• Assist with visual merchandising presentation, signage and lighting
• Maintain store cleanliness and stockroom organization
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
