Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a world-class shopping experience by offering excellent customer service and in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty-retail environment.

You will use effective selling techniques, maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, and assist with services such as gift wrap, registry, and special orders while ensuring accurate register transactions and strong merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years customer service experience and retail sales experience preferred
• Ability to operate POS system
• Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by offering World-Class service standards
• Assist customers with services including: gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders
• Utilize selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity
• Demonstrate product knowledge, including features and benefits
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed
• Maintain visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting
• Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures
