Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Thornton, CO is hiring a Seasonal Part Time Team Member to assist customers, ring up orders, stock shelves, and keep the store running smoothly. You will help with truck unloads, planograms, and in-store services while delivering the brand promise with a friendly, helpful attitude.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights, weekends and early mornings. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, inventory control, and shrink/safety programs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
