Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service in a busy craft store environment. You will help customers locate products, assist with purchases, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will also participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining shelves to keep the store well-merchandised. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with flexibility for varying hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and resolve questions.
• Comfort with cash handling and checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experiences and handle cash to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Support Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Stock, unload trucks, and maintain store merchandising and planograms.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
