Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for. You will perform cashier duties, handle cash transactions to standards, and assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store recovery to keep our products well-merchandised.

Ideal candidates will have prior retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and be available for nights,

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Execute cash handling to standards at checkout.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions.
• Support Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
• Perform store in-stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
