Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members to assist customers, run a fast checkout, and support omnichannel services including BOPIS and SFS. Team members will engage customers in rewards programs, educate on VOC and uphold store standards.

Role includes stocking, planograms, merchandise recovery, and cross-training in Custom Framing. Public store environment with variable hours including nights and weekends. Minimum age 16+.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and in-stock store upkeep.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Interact professionally; promote the company vision and values; be a role model for teammates.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
