Job summary

Michaels is hiring at BOS-STONEHAM, MA store to provide friendly customer service, help customers shop, and complete fast, accurate checkout experiences. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep products in stock and well-presented.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are comfortable with upselling Rewards program, and can stand for long periods.

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred.
Must be able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
Sixteen years or older as required by policy.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Educate customers on VOC survey.
Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
Maintain stock and store recovery to ensure in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.
Perform In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
Interact professionally with customers and colleagues; model positive behavior.
Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
