Job summary

Michaels in Houston, TX is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Responsibilities include promoting the Rewards program, enrolling customers, supporting BOPIS/SFS Omni-channel processes, and upholding SOPs. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) activities.
• Maintain merchandise recovery, in-stock levels, and store recovery.
• Perform SISO and AD set duties; support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
