Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring a Seasonal Service Team Member in Houston, TX. You will help customers shop, provide friendly service at checkout, and assist with unloading trucks and stocking shelves. You’ll follow SOPs, promote store programs, and support omni-channel activities like Buy Online Pickup in Store where needed.

Physical requirements include standing long periods and occasional heavy lifting. Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required depending on store needs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system to standard.
• Ability to stand long periods and perform stocking and recovery tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in-store.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to SOPs.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery.
