Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate for the Boynton Beach, FL location to assist customers, handle checkout, and support daily store operations. The role involves stocking, merchandising, and participating in omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store.

Must be available for varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Applicants should have prior retail or customer service experience and be able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and perform store recovery; handle returns and go-backs.
• Support store in-stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
