Job summary

Michaels in Strongsville, OH is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well‑merchandised store.

Join a team that supports omni‑channel tasks (BOPIS/SFS), rewards enrollments, and adherence to SOPs. Candidates should have retail or customer service experience and be able to stand for long periods with occasional heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with proper cash handling.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain in-stock store and participate in merchandise recovery and returns.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
