Job summary

New Balance is hiring Retail Sales Associates in Philadelphia, PA. You will deliver courteous service, help customers with product selection and fitting, and process sales at the register while maintaining store standards.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to work weekends/holidays. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required, with care for safety and floor presentation a daily expectation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Should be a people person.
• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and establish contact; understand customer needs and educate on product features.
• Assist customers with sizing and product fitting across NB lines.
• Transact sales using suggestive and multiple selling, ensuring a smooth checkout.
• Inform customers about current promotions and keep floor neat and well stocked.
• Label and price items correctly; monitor security and prevent shrinkage.
• Follow safety procedures and report accidents or near misses promptly.
