Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking Retail Sale Associates to deliver exceptional customer service in our Pocono, PA stores. You will use product knowledge and proven selling techniques to guide customers through the shopping experience, ensuring accurate fitting and seamless transactions.

Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable on a cash register, and able to work weekends/holidays. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and maintaining an attractive, well-stocked floor across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Greet and engage customers to assess needs.
• Educate customers on product features and benefits.
• Transact sales with effective closing and upselling.
• Measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about current promotions.
• Keep the sales floor neat, organized and well stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and priced accurately.
