Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. in Clinton Crossing, CT is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to ensure stores operate smoothly and deliver exemplary customer service. You will apply product knowledge and the GUEST service model to guide customers through the transaction.

The role requires basic math, cash-register familiarity, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Past retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and the GUEST service model.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions we have running.
• Keep the floor neat, organized, and well stocked.
• Make sure items are labeled and price marked properly.
• Protect products by greeting customers, tagging, monitoring, and reporting shrinkage.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents/near misses.
