Job summary

Michaels in Fairfield, CA is seeking team members to deliver outstanding customer service and help customers locate products. You will manage fast, accurate checkout and cash handling while supporting stocking, merchandising, and omni-channel tasks in a busy retail environment.

Team members participate in truck unloading, planograms and recovery so the store remains clean, organized and well-stocked. This role may require evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Familiarity with store policies and POS operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) duties.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and general store recovery to stay well-stocked.
