Job summary

Michaels Stores in Whittier, CA is hiring for a Store Team Member who will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate items, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, execute planograms, and support omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS.

You’ll participate in in-stock and shrink/safety programs, adhere to SOPs, and be trained in framing sales. Applicants must be 16+ and able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label credit cards; enroll customers
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and store in-stock maintenance, including returns
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs; comply with SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers professionally; uphold company values; cross trained in framing sales/production
