Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in Colma, CA to assist customers, keep shelves stocked, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will unload trucks, participate in planograms, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Training in framing services may be provided.

Preferred candidates have retail or customer service experience, with the ability to stand long hours and lift items as needed. Opportunities for benefits and growth exist.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and credit card enrollments
• Educate customers on the VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns
• Perform store in-stock optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model professional behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
