Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Long Beach, CA is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

Responsibilities include assisting with BOPIS/SFS, educating customers on rewards, and maintaining safety and SOP adherence. Retail experience and a positive attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to move throughout the store and lift moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and loyalty programs.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes (POGs).
• Maintain stock and perform merchandise recovery and go-back operations.
• Support shrink and safety initiatives and adhere to SOPs.
