Job summary

Michaels Stores - LA Hawthorne, CA is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers, shop the store, and ensure a fast, courteous checkout. You’ll handle cash, assist with product locations, and participate in store operations like stocking and planograms.

You’ll also support omnichannel services such as BOPIS/SFS, enroll customers in the Rewards program, and contribute to store recovery, safety, and in-stock initiatives. This is a frontline role in a bustling retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and moving items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; support safety programs.
