Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Long Beach, CA is seeking a part-time Seasonal Service Team Member to assist customers, manage merchandise, and support store operations. You will help customers find products, ring up purchases, and ensure a fast checkout while upholding store standards and policies.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves; participating in planograms and recovery, and promoting store programs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Cash handling experience and comfort with checkout procedures.
• Support omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and locate products.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock levels, and participate in SOPs.
