Job summary

Michaels in Mesquite, TX is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences.

You’ll participate in stocking, merchandising, truck unloading, planograms, and store recovery, while supporting Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store activities. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a positive store image, with opportunities for growth and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
