Job summary

Michaels is seeking a friendly store associate in Monroe, LA to help customers while maintaining a well-stocked, orderly store. You will assist shoppers, ring up purchases, and guide customers through our rewards and card programs.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, managing planograms, and supporting omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS. Ability to stand long hours and lift items is required, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and general store recovery to keep the store well-merchandised.
