Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Monroe, LA to help customers shop, find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, participate in planograms, and support omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves crossing training in Custom Framing and adheres to SOPs and safety standards. Applicants must be 16+, with retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program and private label credit cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, go-back process, and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain positive, respectful interactions.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
