Job summary

Michaels Amherst, NH is looking for a friendly Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You will handle unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, well-merchandised store to deliver a great shopping experience.

You’ll promote the Michaels Rewards program, enroll customers, and assist with in-store and online pickup orders. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and you must be at least sixteen years old.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Willing to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock presentation; support shrink and safety programs
