Job summary

Michaels, a leading crafts retailer, seeks a Store Associate to assist customers, handle checkout, and help maintain stock and store appearance. You will engage shoppers, promote Rewards and store programs, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store operations.

The role involves standing long hours, moving around the store, and assisting with unloading trucks and restocking as needed. Prior retail experience is preferred; 16+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years or older for U.S. applicants.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Operate checkout with accurate cash handling and fast service.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Support omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms.
• Ensure merchandise is in stock and store is clean and orderly.
