Job summary

Michaels Rochester Hills is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and keep the store well‑merchandised. Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise presentation to ensure an in-stock store
