Job summary

Michaels in Allen, TX is seeking a Store Team Member to help customers find products, deliver friendly service, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

There are opportunities to enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs, and to support Omni channel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. A strong retail or customer service background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to assist customers, answer questions and resolve issues.
• Comfort handling cash and operating a register.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash to standards
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally and serve as a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
