Job summary

Michaels Stores in Pittsfield, MA is hiring for a customer-focused role ensuring friendly service and efficient checkout experiences. You will help shoppers, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and support store processes from receiving to merchandising.

Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and participate in omni-channel activities like BOPIS and SFS. Night/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label credit cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
• Maintain well-merchandised in-stock store and manage returns/go backs
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact professionally with customers and team members; promote company values
• Cross trained in custom framing selling and production
