Job summary

Michaels in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining well-merchandised shelves.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old per U.S. requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and store duties.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain in-stock shelves and perform merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
