Job summary

Michaels in Bakersfield, CA is seeking team members to deliver friendly, efficient service at the checkout and throughout the store. You will help customers locate products, answer questions, and enroll them in rewards programs to enhance their shopping experience.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, executing planograms, supporting BOPIS and Ship From Store, and maintaining in‑stock conditions while following SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout experience and help customers in-store.
• Help customers locate products and answer questions to assist shopping decisions.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them when applicable.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms (POGs) to ensure in-stock availability.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and teammates, modeling company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
