Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Team Member in Matthews, NC for part-time work. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers in-store, and ensure fast, accurate checkout.

You’ll help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock. The role involves cross-training in custom framing, supporting BOPIS and SFS processes, and following SOPs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (lift, bend, reach).
• Comfort with cash handling and checkout procedures.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in store.
• Complete truck unloading, stocking, and planogram implementation.
• Maintain store recovery standards and support SOPs.
• Engage customers with Rewards program and enrollments.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Participate in inventory and shrink/safety programs.
