Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Durham, NC is seeking a Seasonal AM Team Member to help customers, stock merchandise, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. The role supports truck unloading, planograms, and day-to-day store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will engage customers with the rewards program, assist with omnichannel orders, and maintain store recovery standards while following safety and SOPs. This role requires flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and nights.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, stock, and maintain planograms.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery and general store recovery to keep shelves in stock and well merchandised.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
