Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members in Matthews, NC to deliver friendly customer service and efficient checkout experiences. You will help shoppers locate products, participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Responsibilities include promoting rewards programs, enrolling customers, supporting omnichannel processes, and following SOPs. The role may involve cross-training in Custom Framing and assistance with safety and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions, manage returns/go-back process
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
