Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Team Member in Greensboro, NC. You will help customers shop, handle quick, friendly checkouts, and assist with unloading trucks and stocking shelves. Flexibility for early mornings, nights, and weekends is required.

You may be cross-trained in Custom Framing and participate in BOPIS/SFS processes, ensuring a well-merchandised, in-stock store while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Engage customers on rewards program and private label credit card enrollments.
• Assist Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in merchandise recovery and store maintenance to ensure in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
