Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in Texas. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout while upholding store standards. You’ll engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments, and support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities include truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and maintaining in-stock conditions. Cross training in framing is available; flexible hours may apply including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Physical requirements include lifting and stocking duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and in-stock store readiness.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
