Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member in Webster, TX. You will help customers locate products, provide friendly service, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

You will also assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandising tasks to maintain an inviting, well-stocked store. You’ll participate in omnichannel processes, including BOPIS and SFS, and support store recovery, safety programs, and standard operating procedures while engaging customers with the

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully, promote the organization’s vision and values; be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
