Job summary

Michaels Stores in Houston is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly service and assist customers throughout the store. You will help shoppers locate products, answer questions, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, remerchandising, and participating in store recovery to keep shelves in stock. The ideal candidate has retail or customer service experience and willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Educate customers on Rewards program and private label credit cards
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance
• Support store recovery and in-stock conditions
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
