Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate to assist customers, manage checkout, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help customers locate products, enroll them in rewards programs, and assist with omni-channel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, flexibility for nights/weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact professionally with customers and teammates.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
