Job summary

Michaels in Laredo, TX is seeking store associates to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will support omni-channel processes, stock replenishment, and merchandise recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in‑stock.

Team members help customers with product locations, enroll customers in rewards programs, and participate in a safety‑conscious, climate‑controlled retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Uplifts: 16 years or older required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and store initiatives.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store through recoveries and returns processing.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOPs.
• Interact with customers professionally and set a positive example.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
