Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for the LAPEER store to assist customers, manage checkout, and support in-store operations. The role involves helping customers locate products, processing transactions, and promoting the Rewards program and Private Label cards.

Team members will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery while assisting with Omni channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. Flexible hours include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label credit card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; project a positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned
