Job summary

Michaels in Waterford, CT is seeking a store team member to assist customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in receiving, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves POS cash handling, engagement with the Rewards program, and supporting omni-channel initiatives such as BOPIS and SFS. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and early mornings is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with cash handling and checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and respond to returns/go-backs.
