Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Bridgeport, CT is hiring a part-time Retail Seasonal Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast and accurate checkout experience.

You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, and store recovery, participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, follow SOPs, and promote safety and the company’s brand.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Perform merchandise recovery and store recovery to maintain in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Adhere to SOPs and safety programs; participate in shrink reduction initiatives.
