Job summary

Michaels is seeking an in-store team member to help customers find products, provide friendly checkout experiences, and participate in stocking and merchandising tasks. You will engage customers with the Rewards program and help with BOPIS/SFS processes while upholding store standards and safety policies.

The role involves standing long hours, lifting and moving merchandise, and working flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Equal opportunity employer. Minimum age 16.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers, answer questions, and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store by locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers as needed.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Support omni-channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Help maintain store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandised displays.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety programs, and company policies.
