Michaels is hiring at our Santee, CA store to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. Team members unload trucks, stock shelves, maintain planograms, and support omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities include promoting the Rewards program, enrolling customers in Private Label Credit Cards, and delivering high levels of service in a climate-controlled retail environment. This role requires standing for long periods and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store and lift boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and back stock; support in-stock conditions.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote company values and professional conduct.
