Job summary

The Michaels Companies, a leading North American arts and crafts retailer, is seeking a Store Team Member in Houston, TX. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers, and executing merchandise and checkout duties to keep the store well-stocked and welcoming.

Responsibilities include helping customers find products, processing transactions, supporting the Rewards and credit card programs, and participating in omni-channel and store recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Retail and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties to maintain store recovery standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in stocking, planograms (POGs), and in-stock optimization.
