Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Team Member at our Plano, TX location to help customers, process quick checkouts, and participate in stocking and merchandising tasks.

You will engage customers with rewards programs and support omni-channel initiatives such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. Responsibilities include truck unloading, planograms, store recovery, and cross-training in Custom Framing selling to assist customers.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform stock/merchandising tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise return/go back processes to keep in-stock merchandising.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Assist with shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
