Job summary

Michaels is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers, operate a fast checkout, and promote rewards programs in our store in Yuma, AZ. You will help customers locate products, participate in omni-channel processes, and support merchandising and stock duties in a busy retail environment.

The role requires a friendly, respectful attitude, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings. U.S.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise, handle returns/go backs, and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and model Michaels values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
